Driveways
Block paving, imprinted concrete, resin, tarmac. Moss, algae, weed growth, and years of ground-in grime lifted out. The surface looks the way it did when it was laid.
Patios & paths
Flagstone, sandstone, limestone, porcelain, and concrete. Garden paths, seating areas, and entertaining spaces brought back to life. The patio you actually want to sit on again.
Roofs
Carried out from a cherry picker so nobody walks on your tiles. Moss and dirt removed using a low pressure steam cleaner, followed by a biocide treatment to slow regrowth. No risk of damaged or slipped tiles. No high pressure water near your roof.
Gutters
Cleared, flushed, and inspected for damage while we’re up there. Overflow problems diagnosed and sorted at the source, not just papered over.
Cladding & render
Biological growth, pollution staining, and discolouration removed with the right pressure for the surface. Render gets its colour back. UPVC cladding looks new.
Conservatories
Glass, polycarbonate, and framework cleaned inside and out. Valley gutters cleared. Seals checked. The conservatory you actually want to sit in again.
Building cleans
Brick, stone, and masonry cleaned using steam to remove organic growth, carbon deposits, and atmospheric staining. The right method for the surface, whether it’s a domestic property or a larger building. No high pressure on delicate stonework.
Decking & outdoor furniture
Timber and composite decking cleaned and restored. Garden furniture, pergolas, and outdoor structures brought back to a standard worth looking at. Green, slippery decking made safe and usable again.
Solar panels
Carried out from a cherry picker, the same as the roof work. Dirt, bird mess, and atmospheric deposits removed so the panels perform the way they should.
Commercial kit on your driveway.
Most domestic cleaning companies run consumer-grade pressure washers bought from the same shops you could buy one from. Powerful enough for a quick patio refresh, but not for ingrained grime on a full driveway, and risky on surfaces that need a gentler approach.
GJB runs high-spec commercial equipment. The same kit we use on car parks, warehouse cladding, and industrial sites. That means more pressure where it’s needed, the ability to dial it down where it’s not, hot water for stubborn grime, and a self-contained water supply and our own power supply, so we don’t rely on your outside tap or your electricity.

Before you call.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the job. A small driveway is obviously a lot less than a full house including roof, gutters, and render. We’ll come out to quote in person if needed, or give you a clear price over the phone once we know the details. No pressure, no follow-up chasing if you decide not to go ahead.
Will pressure washing damage my driveway or patio?
Not if it’s done properly. The wrong pressure on the wrong surface can cause damage, which is exactly why we match the method to the surface rather than blasting everything with the same setting. Block paving might need re-sanding afterwards, which we can handle as part of the job.
Do you walk on my roof?
No. Roof and solar panel cleaning is done from a cherry picker. Safer for the team, no pressure on your tiles, and no risk of slips or breakage. We’ll need room to position the cherry picker, but that’s usually straightforward on a residential property.
Do I need to be home?
Not if we can access the area we’re cleaning. Most external jobs don’t need you in. If there’s something specific we need, like access through a gate, we’ll agree it in advance. We carry our own water supply and power supply, so we don’t need access to your mains water or electricity.
Will you move the garden furniture?
Yes, within reason. We’ll move patio tables, chairs, and pots as part of the job, clean underneath, and put everything back where it was. If there’s something particularly heavy or delicate, please let us know in advance.
How far will you travel for a domestic job?
Roughly 30 miles from Preston for most residential work. If you’re further afield and it’s a larger job — say a full house clean including roof and render — get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
Can you do more than one job in the same visit?
Yes, and this usually works out better for you. Driveway plus gutters, or roof plus render, all in one visit, one team, one call-out. Most customers end up booking two or three services together once they realise.
